Hotel Plaza Inn - Figueres (Girona)

The location was excellent and exactly what we were looking for. The area around had lots of choices for meals and drinks, including restaurants.

A really good location and very friendly staff. Good value for the price.

It was perfect

This hotel ticks all the boxes for a perfect stay under the bridge in a lively location. The staff ensured we had a comfortable stay and couldn't have been more helpful. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated with fascinating surrealist paintings on the walls. We particularly enjoyed the large balcony that overlooked the backside of this hotel. The breakfast spread was good value for money with loads of variety.

All was okay, we had a lovely stay.

Everything - couldn't have been better - can't speak Spanish - but it didn't matter as the staff are incredibly helpful and enjoy their work.

I loved the terrace and freshly prepared and well priced breakfast. It was a decent size, good enough for a wedding celebration. The location was particularly good and stunning, just 5 minutes walk from Dali Theatre-Museum. There was bamboos and a park next to the place.

Convenient location for exploring. The bathroom is a good size. It's a solid 3-star spot. 🌟

Hotel Plaza Inn is located within a short walk from the train station in Figueres. We were only there for one night - on our way to Perpignan, France to pick up a rental car and vacation in southern France after an all-night flight into Barcelona. Hotel is very cute and quirky... Life- size clown figure at the top of our stairs, other figures outside in front of hotel and unique paintings on walls of our room. Young woman behind the desk was very friendly and helpful and arranged for a taxi to pick us up and take us to the station for train to France early the next morning. Overall, enjoyable for a one-night stay and recommended.

Very friendly hotel staff. Good location near the Dali museum. Quirky decor.

Early morning noise from the recycling collection across the road from the hotel. Bins were emptied at 4am.

The rooftop BBQ was a highlight of our stay, enjoying delicious food and great company. The hotel's location was perfect, close to the Dali Museum and other attractions. The quirky and fun atmosphere added to the overall experience. highly recommended!

A absolutely marvellous management and staff, good breakfast, best location possible just around the corner from the Dali museum - and thank you for the free apples available at the front desk. This hotel is an art gallery, just crammed with sculptures and art works from Spain and around the world and it is just a great delight to wander around and take it all in..... The rooms are full with wall drawings by local artist, the hall ways and staircases, the breakfast room - just overflowing. And not to forget the roof garden allowing great views over town and the countrysite and a couple of nice exercise machines to keep guests muscles toned.

The central location of this place was ideal for exploring on foot and using public transit. Staff members were polite, helpful, and welcoming. Very large balcony facing the sun. Close to the Dali Museum and town center with bars and dining options. Great shopping in the area.

Rooms were spacious & had nice decor..friendly helpful reception staff who spoke good English. I was able to have a double room for just myself at no extra cost which was fantastic. The Dali Theatre museum was just around the corner...perfect.

The hotel is very clean and as other people wrote is a bit corky.

The holtel is in the city center but is located above a restaurant. On the day we stayed there was a strong smell of fried fish all afternoon and evening in the room that changed to a smell of baking croasons in the morning. We felt that the smell was coming into the room from the a/c system so we could do nothing. The front desk said that there were no way off changing our room as they were full. We were given an arosol to ease this unfortunate situation.The rating given on this hotel by othe visitors is about a 9.Iwould have given a 9 too but the fish scent drops our rating to no more than 5.
